This is my 4th Kimber Ultra 1911 and I think it may have already leapt the others for my favorite. Kimber makes an incredible quality 1911 at this value. I love the all steel build on this one and it’s the only Ultra that Kimber makes with a steel frame. It does weigh more than my others with aluminum frames, but not dramatically different and certainly doesn’t hinder carrying. I also think the finish on the Eclipse is the best finish out of all of Kimber’s offerings. I’ve wanted one since before my first ever 1911 purchase and now I have one. Even with a special order processing time, Bud’s was smooth and speedy as always. I ordered this on a Saturday morning and they still had it to my FFL on the following Friday!

Very happy with this weapon right out of box target did not have a chance, handled good balance and weight no complaints.
