Kel-Tec PF-9-GY PF-9 7+1 9mm 3.1"
by Jeffrey M Date Added: Tuesday 29 July, 2008
The PF-9 was not a gun I wanted to own, but realized I needed to own. Have owned for a short while, but the gun is perfect for our Florida summers and conceals in just about anything. 100% reliable and shoots to point of aim at 10 yards. No problems so far. Trigger is very nice, although a bit long, as you would expect for a pocket carry gun. I also own the 3AT .380 and that little beast is now very reliable after the recommended 200 round break in period. If you decide on buying a Keltec, don't give up on it until you have shot a lot of rounds. While my PF-9 has been perfect right out of the box, I know of some that have problems that have disappeared after the breakin time. Same goes for the 3AT .380. Be sure and wear some weight lifting or motorcyle riding gloves when shooting the PF-9 at the range because the recoil is a hand-full due to the very light weight. Without the gloves, your hand will be sore for a week.
