Don't think you can get a better 1911 than a Kimber anywhere close to this price. Well built and reliable. Used as CCW most of the time for the last seven years. Factory mag could cause jams. Wilson mags took care of that problem.

I had been looking and researching for a .45 conceal for some time. I was never worried about the limitations of a single stack magazine. If a 7+1 does not do the job then more range time is needed. So, in order to make a good decision I first rented a Kimber Ultra II at the range and was amazed at the quality, the feel, and accuracy. The recoil was nothing compared to other .45s. So a month later hwre I am with my new Kimber Tac Ultra II. I ripped through 300 rounds today and it was a blast. Accurate, and easy on my hand. I could easily have gone for another 200 rounds but ran out of time. All my expectations were met. Would I purchase this gun again? Yes, 100% !
