Love this pistol. Finish is really nice. Shoots as accurate as I can aim.lol blind, old etc. 😂 Pistol has some heft , not much recoil. Buds was great as usual. I would recommend this purchase. 6k+ price must be an error.

Well made. Comfortable and balanced. I ordered the .38sp version and I believe it is "sweet spot" in caliber. Recoil, accuracy are very good. Nice revolver. Fit and finish are excellent as one would expect from Uberti of Italy's manufacture, sold through Cimarron.

Wanted an old "Strapless" to shoot and this one sounded good. I found it shot ok, getting adjusted to the sights will take me some time but that is fine with me. The ejector slide has a bit of an off set that makes ejecting shells a little awkward for me, I expected the slide to go straight back which it does however the guide for the slide has this offset, the more I used it the more I became familiar with it, but don't like it. The trigger guard is a little small, but do I like the gun,,,,,,YES.

I purchased a pair of these revolvers for Cowboy Action Shooting. Thanks Bud's for having the best price. Out of the box they were pretty good, better than expected. The bolts were fitted well to the cylinders and both locked up good. However, like most Uberti open tops, the arbors were short. The way the wedge was fitted an average shooter would get by just fine but I knew for compensation they would have to be fixed. I bored the end of the arbors and fitted them with #3 Dillon locator buttons and machined to proper length the refitted the wedge. With that problem solved the next mod was to install Ruger type paw/hand springs to improve reliability. With each gun completely disassembled I did some deburring and a little polishing. They really didn't need much. That and lighter Wolfe springs really made these revolvers nice. I have shot several matches with them now and absolutely love them. I like my Ruger Vaquero's but not as much as these Open Top's. Now I need a pair of 4 1/2" in 45 Colt.

Like a glove. The pistol handles great, shoots straight and true. Clean up is simple and easy to do.
