Very good replica of the Colt SSA. Color Case hardening is very good. Fit not as good as Colt but still acceptable (for the price). Shoots good. John Jackson

This is a great example of the revolver carried by many US Army Cavalry soldiers during the "Indian Wars." I've already made a half-flap (right-handed) holster and cartridge belt for it. It also shoots exceptionally well.

This is my third sa uberti and I think it’s my favorite one. I don’t mind only three clicks on the hammer. It’s the sound I get when the trigger is pulled that I like. Shoots very close to point of aim off hand and functions perfectly

Beautiful looking Uberti/Taylor/Cimarron replica of the famous Colt Peacemaker-- at less than a third of the cost of a Colt reissue. The fit and finish is beautiful and the action is very smooth. Very happy with the purchase.

This revolver shoots just fine, but keep in mind, it's basically the stock model. The hammer pull and trigger pull is heavier than Cimarron/Uberti's Evil Roy revolvers. Perhaps those with arthritis want something a little slicker. That aside, it looks great, and it has a respectable heft with that long barrel. I learned that cocking this revolver only produces 2 clicks. I was a little surprised because all uberti's I've held made 3 clicks (as opposed to the 4 clicks on the original Colt SAA when cocking the hammer). On this one, there is a click for half cock (to spin the wheel) and a click for full cock. It doesn't affect performance, but some may be particular about it. I bought it for CAS, and it did exactly what I expected it to.

This wheel gun is an absolutely beautiful piece. From to Bluing & Case Hardening to the grips. It's received several comments already from one trip to the range. I've yet to fire 45 Colt through it, I purchased a 45 ACP cylinder from Cimarron at the same time as making this purchase, as the Dual Cylinder package was unavailable; this revolver is the definition of a tack driver. An absolute pleasure to shoot, and deserving of so many other niceties to be said about it. It was a great purchase at a price that was a steal. Can't wait to get a few more.

As always, Buds delivers the goods. Very nice Colt 1873 knock off made in Italy by AU. Blueing as nice as any, function, very nice. Full frame case color, Fit and finish superb. Negatives none. All I wanted was a wood presentation case to go along with it.

Man man man!!! This “Peacemaker” clone is a super sweet piece!! Beautiful finish includeing the color case and blueing! Absolutely the best deal going if you want to feel nostalgic....I had a Sig MPX delivered almost the same time and I gravitate to my “Peacemaker” more! Even the serial numbers marked on the cylinder and cartouche marks are sahhhhweettt!! Git yerself one Hoss!

Great gun....good price...was a little disappointed it does not have four stage cocking like real colt but other wise pretty authentic reproduction and sight seem good. Shoots accurately with no filing.

Thought I would give my insight on this SAA Clone I received today. First and most important - It only says ____O.L.T. It does not have the 4 clicks like the Colt SAA. 1st click is Half Cock for loading. Third and Fourth lock and hammer catch. I came home and immediately put around 30-40 rounds thru it. Actually shot it very well on steel with the sights which are very good for a period pistol. Function was perfect with my mild reloads. All screws except hammer were very tight and did not loosen after firing. A little cleanup to remove what some might call excess lubrication. Since I have owned an original Colt SAA, this little shooting iron fills a gap which can only be filled by adding another $1400.00. That would be if you could find a new one. I'm on the waiting list, but really, this pistol is a blast to shoot and is very close to a real Colt SAA.

Cimarron Model P is one of the best ever fit an finish could not be any better

Essentially these cimarron model peace makers are the last revolver your going to need. I have 3 right now. The fit and finish are by far the best on the market. Accurate, powerful, great customer service from cimarron, don’t even bother with a ruger unless you need 44Mag. These revolvers do have some quirks and modifications that really help these pistols shine. -Get the screw driver set from brownells. It’s $8. -Get the evil Roy spring kit. It’s listed on the cimarron web site. There’s a few spring kits on the market. But the evil Roy is the slickest. -Use some blue loc-tite on the Ejector rod screw. After a few hundred rounds the screws will need to be tightened on this pistol. Also when you order the spring kit. Order a few extra screws as spares. -Save your brass and reload. REALLY makes this pistol fun.

I'm so glad I purchased this gun. It is absolutely beautiful. The workmanship is top quality. This is my second purchase from Bud's and I am beyond pleased with their service.

First of all, Bud's service was once again first class. There is no better place to purchase a firearm. I have a number of Uberti/Cimmaron reproductions and this Model P in 45LC doesn't disappoint. It is a beautiful pistol, and fit and finish are superb.. It is an absolute joy to shoot and has become one of my favorite plinking pistols. The measured trigger pull is just under 3lbs, which helps make it a superbly accurate pistol. Take my advice and do yourself a favor. Learn to load black powder cartridges (not BP substitutes, but real BP).. The 45 colt cartridge was designed for BP and this is where this gun shines. You won't believe how much fun it is.

Quality finish shooting an function all top notch wife loves shooting this put 100 rounds through it the day we got it an nothing just kept firing also has a cool safety feature when hammer pin will not hit round unless trigger is pulled so u don’t have to worry about the accidental discharge from half cocked guns!!! I have not yet fired the Cimarron. However, is a fine looking revolver and appears to be very well made.

Product was as advertised and as expected from Bud's. Great pistol and more accurate than a similar Colt. Fit and finish were exceptional in fact the bluing is better than the Colt SAA of mine. Should have bought this pistol first and saved a ton of money. Unless you MUST have a Colt, save your money, this pistol would be hard to beat Again, thanx Bud's.

Bud's service, stellar, once again. I shot this revolver today, and I have to say, it made me look good! I can't get over the fit and finish. Good as any high priced firearm I've ever seen. Function was perfect, with no hiccups whatsoever, Accuracy is great, even out to fifty yards. I plan on buying more products from Cimarron Arms in the future. You get more than what you pay for with this company!
