Used Smith and Wesson Model 10 38SPL 3"

Given the ambiguity of the origin of this revolver in the description I was a little skeptical but based on price and my previous experience with Bud's (have bought _8 guns in the past year, 3 used) I wend ahead and placed my order. My initial plan was to perhaps have the gun re-finished.

It arrived at my FFL by the end of the second business day. When I picked it up today I was very pleased - although it was very, very dirty, it locked up tight, exhibited no end-shake, rust was minimal was and largely contained to the back strap surface AND it had the original S&W grips.

Got it home, removed the grips and spent some quality time with my Flitz and then Ren Wax.

The end result is beautiful - this gun is mechanically sound, cosmetically excellent but with enough "character" that re-finishing is the out of the question.

This firearm exemplifies the quality S&W revolvers are known for - perfect balance, unbelievable trigger and among one of the most aesthetically pleasing designs that exists in this period revolver. A keeper!

Wish I'd gotten two!
