Used Smith and Wesson Model 10 38SPL 3"
by John F Date Added: Tuesday 20 December, 2011
Just got this the other day, and it was exactly as described. Had a bit of bluing removed, but the timing, fit and lock up was PERFECT. It functioned as if it had just been delivered by the factory after being built. And did I mention when I broke it down to it's componant parts, it appears as if it had never been fired. There were no circle type scratches on the cyclender showing it had been rotated, no powder or copper scraps anywhere on the weapon, the blast impressions usually found inside the cylender from fired rounds were not present. Accuracy was 2.249" at 31ft using match grade ammo. It has now been sent off to S&W for re-bluing and I have fitted it with S&W wooden, K frame square butt competition wood grips. At the range I was offered 400 cash for it. No dice as 3" Model 10's are hard to find.
