Used S&W Police Model 10 38sp Round Butt

I ordered one of these round butt, used revolvers. The one shipped to me was a Model 10-10. The condition of the gun was as listed. The gun had holster wear at the muzzle and lightly at the sharp edges. It also had a couple of very minor dings and scratches. Overall, I would rate the exterior condition of the gun at 90%. It came with the original $&W wood grips which were in good condition. I was also very pleased with the condition of the bore and chambers. They were like new indicating that the revolver had been carried a lot but fired very little. When cocked, the cylinder lock-up seems OK. I have not fired it yet but plan to take it to the range soon. The trigger pull measures 5 lbs (single action) and 11 lbs (double action). It feels lighter, however, because of the smooth S&W action. I was a bit disappointed in the cylinder gap. It seems to be around .007 to .008 which is on the edge of being acceptable. I would have preferred it to be around .004 or .005. Still, I evaluate this revolver as a very good buy. A new Model 10 has a MSRP of $719 with Bud's selling them for about $100 or so less. Therefore, these revolvers are being sold for less than 1/2 the price of a new one. They are certainly worth the money.
