I am a long time Kimber fan and always said someday I will own one. Well the day I saw this Kimber at such a Great price and I could put it on layaway I had to have it. Buds layaway process is so easy to do all online, no phone calls or hoops to jump through it made buying a gun I've always wanted but was always just out of reach for me a reality. I paid the layaway off on a Saturday and had picked it up the next Thursday. The order department at Buds was very fast as was the shipping and The CDP Ultra+ Is AWESOME !! From the moment you open the box the Kimber screams superb quality and craftsmanship . This is the only 1911 I will ever buy, once you have the best there's no need to get anything else. Great firearm. Fit and finish are impeccable. I put 100 rounds through it on my first range visit with 2 Kimpro tactical mags and it performed flawlessly. Love the full size handle. It helps to control recoil and get back on target quickly.

Probably one of the best OOB triggers on a handgun I've ever felt. The night sights are fantastic with bright tritium inserts with vivid white outlines for daytime. The gun does seem to be sensitive to ammo type as bulk ammo will sometimes not properly eject spent cases. Defensive ammo runs great though.

One beautiful piece! What can I say, I love this gun. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, very sturdy in the hand. The full length grip is perfect for my hands! Received my order to my FFL in 4 days, was impressed of the timeliness of my delivery. The only negative comment I have about the package is, with all the money I paid for this gun, it only came with one clip and cleaning oil. I would have expected atleast a 2nd clip!
