On 2/14/12, I ordered a Nagant revolver from Buds Guns. It was a 1937 Tula. It is a lot of fun to shoot even though the gas seal does not work even with the Nagant ammo.The pistol is very accurate. I liked it so much on 3/4/12, I ordered a second revolver. This one was a 1936 Tula.The gas seal worked properly on this one but the extractor rod underneath the barrel is very stiff and difficult to use, but for $109.00 I think the pistols are worth the price. You also own a piece of history that in a few years will be hard to find.
I was very surprised by the penetration of the Nagant round. I have heard people say how the round is so under powered it would not got through a pice of plywood. When I first fired the Nagant using the Nagant ammo, the round not only went through a piece of 3/4 inch plywood but penetrated almost one inch into an old hot water heater I shot several times.
This is an excellent product from Buds Guns and I will probably order another Nagant revolver from them and also another 9130 Mosin rifle. Thank you Buds.
