Very happy with the Kahr. Stripped it & cleaned & lubed it,then put 200 rounds of FMJ through it. While it was still hot & dirty shot 2 mags of Cob-Bon 135gr, HP's, Flawless function. The trigger is very smooth through the pull with zero stacking. The rear sight has a little space on either side of the front sight when aiming making it easy to center your shots. I have complete confidence in the pistol which is now one of my daily carry guns depending on weather temp etc & carry options available. I think the light & smoother trigger on the Elite is worth the extra bucks. Recoil is quite manageable, to me about the same as a full size 9mm. A big bang in a high quality easily concealable pistol. I wanted wood grips & the only source I could find was direct from Kahr. The first set didn't come close to fitting. I called Kahr & they immediately send another pair with a pre-paid return label. The second pair was a little better but still fit like crap. Barely got both screws to start & had big gaps between the grip panels & the frame so ended up returning both sets of grips. The crappy wood grips have no bearing on the pistol, I mention it in case someone else has that swap in mind. So great customer service from Kahr but crappy grips
