Bought this to carry during tree clearing operations to protect against copperheads/rattlers. This is a well built finely machined derringer, the stainless version is nice looking. I have shot colt .45 rounds and three inch .000 shot shells through it. It is lighter than its competitor which is one of the reasons I purchased it but surprisingly, it does not kick as bad as many predicted. I really am really happy with this purchase!
