This is not my first Stag Arms rifle, and hopefully it won't be my last (political climate) because they are getting better at the AR game, and they were good to begin with. The fit and finish is second to none - tight and as clean as a bank vault. The gas key is staked perfectly as well. Running the action by hand, it is much smoother than older Stag AR's I've handled, including the Model 2 in my safe. Also, the trigger seems about a lb lighter and a little crisper than previous rifles I've handled. And for those folks who were worried that Stag may had/have gone down hill since they were forced to sell earlier in the year (White Wolf Capital), I can say with confidence this particular model is the best Stag I have ever ran across. Bottom line - If you are looking for the BEST value in a very crowded AR/M4 market, look no further than a Stag with their 'Plus Package' - can't be beat. As a side, I wish Stag would produce a mid-length system, but I digress.....

Review of Stag Arms M1 PLUS 5.56 with Handle: Recieved weapon from Buds timely with excellent email notifications. The weapon comes with a black plastic carry case, weapon cable lock, Two USGI 30 round mags, Stag Arms car bumper sticker, Stag Arms computer mouse pad, Warranty and paperwork. I researched extensively AR 15's online, and Stag Arms reviewed well and comes with Lifetime Warranty! Took this to range and it is accurate out of the box. Went through 5 magazines (150 rounds) and it fed flawlessly with cheap steel case ammo. The Plus package includes: M16 bolt carrier, Extra USGI 30rnd Mag (for total of 2 mags), 4150 barrel steel Chrome lined with 1/7 twist rifling, Heavy (H) buffer assembly. PROS: Plus package gives you the above military specs for a factory weapon. Comes with M4 feed ramps. 2 USGI Mags. Carry Handle with rear sight. Reasonable Price for mil spec weapon! CONS: Carry case is flimsy plastic (at least its free with purchase). Steel mags that come with weapon are scuffed, and look used. Final CON: weapon is so fun to shoot I am spending a small fortune on ammo! Buy this AR with confidence! Lifetime Warranty (you won't find that with Bushmaster, etc)
