As always, Buds price was great and shipping was fast! The rifle itself is a thing of beauty. Trigger pull is nice right out of the box, I may replace it later but for now it would be wasted on me. This rifle was recommended to me by several Marine Sniper instructors that teach long range classes in my state as a great rifle at a great price. I took it to the range and sighted it in, the range officers were impressed with it and said it would be a "tack driver". They were right! Punching 1/4 MOA at 100 yards, stacking holes. This is my first Ruger firearm and wont be my last!

I bought this to start to get back into long-range shooting. PROS * Collapsible stock is nice since that allows it to fit easily in a standard AR rifle bag/case. * Very affordable (when i bought it) * Trigger and bolt action are smooth. Bolt handle in good ergonomic position to quickly get that next round ready CONS: * It's heavy. Which if fine form prone or supported positions, but trying to shot this thing standing or sitting takes effort. * The "precision" style stock looks neat, but in a practical sense it's not that great. The knobs kept getting caught by clothing and I replaced a magpul stock. * EXPENSIVE ammo

Haven't shot it yet, but showed up in perfect condition with no blemishes, only issue was shipping took a while but that was understandable with all the stupidity going on around the United States at this time...

Great rifle for the money. I considered spending over twice this amount for another rifle. So glad I went with the RPR and used rest of the money for better glass. Great looking rifle. Love the two tone look. Very solid. Folding stock locks very positively. Using Hornady ELD-M 147’s, this rifle shoots ragged hole groups at 100. I shot a 1.64” (.39 moa) group at 400 yards and a 3.52” (.38 moa) group at 880 yards. That’s phenomenal accuracy for a factory rifle with factory ammo. Factory trigger measured a respectable 2 pounds out of the box but with a perceptible creep. Following a YouTube video, I removed the adjustment screw and spring and with a slight polishing and lubing of the mating surfaces, it’s now a very nice 15 ounces. No need for a Timney. Only other modification I felt necessary was swapping out the pistol grip for a more vertical grip. Went with the Anarchy Outdoors vertical grip. Much more ergonomic and better trigger pull geometry with thumb resting on right side thumb rest. In conclusion, I don’t feel there’s a better rifle for the money or for twice the money. Very pleased.

This is my second purchase from Buds. I can’t speak highly enough of there fast, friendly service! This rifle is just flat shoots with hand loads for a factory rifle. I tried a box of Hornady 140 grain ELD Match and they were 3/4 moa at a 100 m. Nothing impressive by any means but still good. Hand loads though with the ELD match and 140 grain Berger elite hunter were impressive. On ragged hole. Mine likes the Berger a tad better as I had several groups in the .250-..270 range when I did my part. The factory trigger is ok with a little bit of creep but I changed it out before I shot the rifle. Still it was better than most factory rifles. The rear stock is a little clumsy to adjust but not bad once you get used to it. Over all for the money this rifle is going to be really hard to beat. Oh and I read a few reviews about the bolt not being smooth. Mine was rough for the first 50 rounds or so but smoothed out nicely. No custom gun but still really good!
