Maverick 88 12ga with 24" Cylinder Bore Barrel. It has a 3" Chamber and holds 5+1. You can order the Mossberg 500 12ga 18.5 Security Barrel and install with this. Makes for a excellent hunting Shotgun and Home Security. I put a few Large Folders Coffee Containers with Water in them at 50yds. With the Rifle sights I had no problem hitting them with 2 3/4" Slugs or 00 Buck. You can watch the YouTube video on this Shotgun take a 500rd Torture Test. Great shotgun for the price! Love the rifle sights. 100% reliable with about 300 mixed rounds of slugs bird and buckshot . Buds was great as usual to deal with.

I have alot of experience with these mavericks and must say there nice but there like glocks or berettas in a sense that you dont have to add much to these guns. There very reliable in a hone defense situation but not for combat. Pin issues if there dropped can lock the trigger. I also tried adding a forefrip that replaces the bar but it bent out of place. Other than that I love this gun and the others Ive owned because there very good on a budget guns and I still own 2 of the 3. I have a very long history with the snaller version but this ine I bought as a project gun, and yes I didnt break this one.

Love the shotgun. Cheap and fun to shoot. Will try to get a deer with it this year.

all good but low wall brass stuck in chamber, followed chamber polish procedures found on you tube, works like a champ!

The Maverick 88 is my second purchase from Buds Guns. And again a great deal. The people at buds are super helpful and make this about as painless as possible. Since I've received the gun I have enjoyed taking it to the range and shooting slugs. I opted for the 24 inch barrel over the 18 inch barrel . This makes a great turkey gun a deer Slayer home protection it's got it all covered. This is not a cheap gun it was inexpensive but it is a lifetime weapon. Big thanks again to buds people for making this process so easy will do business again
