this is the best 50 cal ammo out there, I’ve shot over 100 rounds with great outcome.

buds had a good price on this. Everyone else was fairly more expensive and they were tracer rounds which I did not want so thanks Buds.

This ammo is a great quality for the money. Tight groups at 1000 yards and predictable at a mile. 7 out of 10 shots hit the 3x3 plate. I’love be buying more!

At 1500 yrds my group was 4 inches slight wind under 5 shooting down angle between power lines. Cooled barrel between shots was hoping for 3" group. Not blaming ammo just not my day.

This ammo may not hold groups like the Hornady A-Max but it is not far behind. It is very good for the price and Buds was the cheapest.

This stuff (at least for me) is more consistent than any surplus ammo I have ever used. It is affordable and accurate enough for my needs.

Ammo arrived quickly and was clean and consistent on its OAL and other dimensions. Will be a few weeks before I can fire it but will come back and update here once I have.

These rounds work super for the Bushmaster BA-50. The American eagle seemed to have sporadic hot charges. These were consistent with effortless ejection. The lot I got from Buds were dated 2017. Good stuff good price.

When I first got into the 50 BMG game in late 2009, I also bought PMC from Bud's. Fine ammo and manufactured in Poongsan's Angang and Dongrae plants located in South Korea. I never had a misfire and all aspects of this cartridge are top drawer. When I took up the discipline of caring for my 50 cal, I began my own reloading and after chronographing some of the PMC ammo, it was discovered that many of these rounds are a tad hot for my Barrett. My rifle works best at 2600-2700 FPS and many of the rounds from PMC ran through the speed gate at 2800-2900+ FPS. Randomly taking 50 rounds from my remaining supply of 350, I pulled the heads and weighed each powder charge and found a 12 grain spread in 50 rounds. Along with this you get varying FPS so I repeated this trial again a few months later and found near-identical results but the grain spread started way lower than the first batch. Commercial ammo is great for the plinker but as we all know, every firearm has a narrow window of peak performance and reloading and chronograph work will find this ideal load for your particular shootin iron. Commercially made ammo also covers a wide range of applications, even in the 50 BMG line and as such, has to satisfy many firearms possibilities. Make no mistake, the rounds DO work but to get the best out of your particular rifle, reloading is the best way to achieve this. PMC has some bullet proof cases and I am on many reloads with the same case but after the 5th time around, it is time to put that case out to pasture and give them away to kids at the local range. Never had a split case or separation so why take the chance?

I bought 50 rounds of PMC, 20 rounds of federal and 10 rounds of Hornady. I fired 10 rounds of each .50 BMG and i have to say i saw very little differance between any of them in terms of accuracy, i was hitting a target about 500 yards away and none of them were more than half an inch away, consider air density and wind between that range, my rifle was previously sighted using the PMC FMJs. It feels like they produce more gas, and 10 rounds of PMC seem to heat up the rifle much faster, they also feel like they have a tad more kick than the others, the best part about these PMCs are the clean up, they leave alot less powder behind, they burn clean but the jacket is stripped just as much as the others. If you just bought yourself a 50 caliber rifle these cartridges are quality and they will get your scope centered for a fraction of the cost, i would suggest investing in a boresighter for $30 as it will save more than 10 rounds in it's life. If you have owned a 50 claiber for awhile and haven't tried these, they're worth your time, buy a box and see what you think, these are my choice for paper and tannerite since they're affordable. I will save Hornady and Federal for competitions or gambling center masses, i will be buying many many more rounds of PMC for paper punching. **I would suggest taking longer breaks between each shot with these rounds, the differance in heat was noticable by more than just myself, this is why i would not use these in competitions or where time matters**
