Hi-Point CF-380 CF380 8+1 380ACP +P 3.5"
by Charles H Date Added: Friday 23 January, 2009
I just test fired my new CF380 and WOW!. This is one accurate little gun. 10 rounds in a 1-1/4" group which isn't bad for the first shots ever and offhand at that at 15 feet. Of course it was not designed to be a match competition pistol, so don't try to compare it to the guns that drive tacks at 25 yards. But, I would lay down some serious money to compete with any of those high-priced snob guns at short self-defense ranges. Don't ever let anybody tell you these are cheap junk. They are just inexpensive, well-made and have the best warranty in the business. So what is wrong with saving some bucks. Don't worry about having to excuse your purchase to your snobbish friends, just figure you are a tad smarter buyer than they are. In the famous words: Laugh all the way to the bank!

I also have a HP 40 caliber that groups at 2-1/4" at 21 feet and that ain't bad either.!

I love the heavy weight of both pieces as that helps the felt recoil and adds to the stability. They both fit my big hands.

Best bang for the buck on the market today.
