Sig Sauer MOS-22-RT Mosquito Reverse Two-Tone 10+1 22LR 3.9"
by ryan m Date Added: Friday 18 February, 2011
This is my first purchase from Bud's, and I'm certain it won't be my last. Communication was great and shipping was very prompt to my FFL. Like many others have stated with the Sig Mosquito, and Sig themselves, this gun is very particular about it's ammunition. On my first trip t"o the range, I fired CCI Mini Mags exclusively through the Sig and had several issues with FTF and FTE rounds. By my own fault, I neglected to change the spring from the "normal" to "high velocity" spring before heading out to the range the first time. On my second trip, with the "high velocity" spring installed, the CCI Mini Mags cycled through flawlessly (or nearly flawlessly). After I ran through around 150+ rounds of the Mini Mags, I did a quick cleaning of the pistol and attempted to shoot some Federal Bulk. All I can say about that is, my Sig does not favor the flavor of Federal Bulk Pack. After using both springs and almost a complete cleaning on the bench, I rarely was able to fire two rounds in a row with out a FTE. So it looks like I'm off to store to stock up on some Mini Mags, atleast until this gun is well broken in. Only because of the extreme difference between firing the 2 types of ammunition did I downgrade this from a 5 star purchase.
