Great little backup pistol

It's very small and easy to carry and conceal. It's very reliable. At the range, the built-in iron sights are accurate.

Love it!!! I keep this one amongst many others around and on me at all times.

This is what one of my customer wanted so she is happy. I will admit it fits into the front pocket well, except the hammer has a tendency to get hung up.

I have had this gun for a little over a year now and have shot a little over 500 rounds through it. So far, it has not had a single issue and has always performed as expected.
I am no dead eye, but I find that with the holster grip it is as comfortable and easy to shoot as any small handgun. It took me a little bit to get used to the sights, but once I did it was fine. I haven’t had much luck shooting distances greater than my usual 25 ft, but I don’t think you buy this sort of gun for long range shooting.
I do not think it can be beat in terms of ease of concealment and portability. I have heard, people say that they are not really any smaller than a .380, but I carry a .380 Colt Mustang Pocketlite as my regular carry gun and I don't know what they are talking about. It is definitely smaller.
I do not have a good way to measure muzzle velocity, but you definitely loose some compared to larger guns. I tested it on a phone book type catalog against my Ruger 1022 and .22lr 1911 pistol and it penetrated maybe 2/3 the depth of the 1911 or maybe 3/5 of the 1022. It is fun to shoot though and feels like you are shooting something bigger than a .22lr.
Another really nice advantage to the gun is how easy and simple it is to clean.
I don’t find reloading difficult, but I don’t think you could do any sort of speed loading.
All in all, I think it is excellent for what it is. It is extremely reliable and excels where you would expect it to and suffers the draw backs that are inevitable for its size. I don’t think there is much you can do to make it better without sacrificing the traits that set this gun apart. Plus, it’s super cute and I had always kind of wanted one.

This gun was defective out of the box. Immediately after bringing the gun home, I discovered the hammer would not fall after being cocked and I could not make it fall.
North American Arms will repair the gun and pay shipping both ways, but it will likely be a month before I actually have a working gun.
You can imagine what I think of this whole process.

Can't really say anything bad about the one I got. These are simple, small and well made. The folding grip slows down deployment but makes it much easier to shoot accurately. Accuracy being subjective. "Center" hits at seven yards every time with a little practice on standard silhouettes.

I had been wanting one of these NAA revolvers for a long time, although I knew they were hard to shoot because of the tiny grip. When I saw this folding grip reviewed online on YouTube, I knew it was now a more functional firearm and ordered one from Buds. I used a postal money order. The process went exactly as Buds says. I had it shipped to a local FFL dealer who charged me $30 for the transfer, so total cost was under $250. This pistol shoots well and is well made. Takes a bit of practice to get the hammer to sit in the half cock notch and it's a bit of a challenge dealing with the barrel pin, I usually place it back in the pistol before loading more cartridges in the cylinder. There is also some slight play in the folding grip, so when you cock the hammer, it rocks the pistol up a little, then when you pull the trigger, you end up pulling the pistol back down a bit throwing your shot off. So if you're shooting for accuracy, you need to cock the hammer, then use a finger to push the pistol back down before pulling the trigger or your shot will be off. I love the clip, the whole thing fits nicely in my blue jean watch pocket and is hardly noticeable there. For me this is the perfect pocket pistol. I live in a low crime area, but like to have something handy just in case and don't want to have to deal with a cumbersome hand cannon that gets in the way all the time. Sure, it won't knock a bad guy down, but it can easily kill or seriously wound someone sending them to a hospital. No one in their right mind wants to risk being shot, even by a .22 rimfire. FYI when I was a young man, I got a nice temp job replacing a worker that had been wounded in a car jacking. The thief had shot him with a .22 rimfire pistol, and the bullet entered his forearm, traveled up his arm, bounced off his shoulder blade and entered his chest, nearly missing his heart. He was laid up for months. And all because of a little .22 rimfire bullet.

Buds was great to work with! This little gun is the ultimate for conceal carry. It is fun to shoot and all my friends get a kick out of it. It is not the best on accuracy though. I did not expect it to be a nail driver however outside of 6 yards the groupings tend to get farther apart. Nice quality and materials, would buy again.

Awesome little gun. Far more accurate than you would believe. Well built, but the holster grip needs flashing trimmed up to lock open well. As it comes out of the box, it doesn't lock up tight. NAA really needs to address this on the production lines. This is my second NAA Mini. Great little guns!

Shipped quick from Bud's. This is an OK pistol. It penetrated 3/4 inch plywood and still left a good mark on a steel plate at 10 to 30 feet. I am planning on a Black Widow in the future, but this is a nice size for hiding in a pocket, and magnums didn't make much difference ballistically with the minis, so I went for the most for the least size and weight. I removed the clip because it took too long to present the gun when it was clipped to a pocket or waist band. I find it much faster to keep it in a small holster, and open the handle while the gun is coming out of the holster. I think the longer barrel makes it easier to open up this way. This is a good Sunday go to meeting gun, wear with shorts, or take bicycling. Anything else I would take the Black Widow: loaded with Mags.
