Super fun little gun . Easy to keep ring steel offhand rapid fire at 35 yards. Highly recommended

Great Rifle. Fast Shipping. Great Price. I know I can always find the best price from Bud's and I will continue to shop at Bud's as they continue to satisfy my needs.

Fun rifle. Looks cool. Functions with no problems. Not as easy or comfortable to shoot as the standard wood stock. Use/buy only good magazines.

shoots great with stock extended, not so great when folded. folded stock makes it very awkward to shoot. folded stock needs to be locked in place with cutout in butplate.

Nice rifle and a classic carbine to say the least. As other other reviews online have reported these can be a little rough out of the box. But is fairness this is true of many new production weapons. At this price though the issues out of the box should be minimal in my view. M1 carbines as a point of fact and based upon their inherent design are known to be fussy sometimes with different types of ammo and magazines (aftermarket or out of spec. items can really exacerbate these issues). Mine is great overall, feed ramp needed a little polishing and some breaking in to correct feed failures. Other than that its a sturdy, no-nonsense rifle. Compact, lightweight and a blast to shoot! Recoil is barely mentionable and the historic value makes this Auto Ordnance M1A1 a great addition to any collection.

I bought a "Blue Sky" re-build M1 .30 cal carbine at a "gun show" years ago adding it to other military weapons I already owned. It was a fine shooter, and I did reloading of the brass, but I sold my gun collection due to a need for collecting my investment $$ and for not having a good place to shoot. I have always wanted another, but the barrels on the gun show rifles are often poor. This Kahr looks like it has a Douglas barrel sans the thickness though. I get 1" or better MOA at 50 feet with the old military ammo I had left over (Berdin primers) All the accessories from my original carbine work well with this one including 30 round high-capacity clips. The only issues I have encountered so far: the folding stock is a bit short for my stature and somewhat wobbly on my shoulder. The front end band (sans the issue bayonet lug) is a bit constrictive and may flex the barrel possibly affecting accuracy? Only wind-age and range is adjustable on the rear peep sights, but for a hog gun iron sights are not all that necessary in dim light. It's a great "point shooter" as was my original carbine. The Parkerized metal finish is heavy, tough and a bit rough, so I used some graphite lube and haven't had any malfunctions with the firearm so far. I can work on the other issues as they all have fairly easy fixes if required. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. I knew the Kahr name and that was a selling point -- they were involved in the initial history of the WW II Officer's carbines from the beginning. Kahr acquired Auto-Ordnance in 1999.

I purchased this gun a few weeks ago after receiving it. I finally got to fire it this weekend. It's real fun to fire there are very few guns that grab me when I fire them the first time but this one did just that. When fired it operated just as described by people that used the originals in WW2. The gun shoots true and does not move when fired. I shot ten rounds while pointing it at the target from my side waste high landing all rounds in a 6" dia. circle. There are a few quality issues the stock is rough it could have been finished a little better. I had to have the shell load ramp at the barrel smoothed down in order for it not to jam when loading a new shell after ejecting a used one. Remington shells had less of a jamming problem due to them having more pointed bullet nose over the Federal shells that I purchased with the rifle. I now have the gun at my gunsmith getting the ramp smoothed down. I do want to say that this is not a problem that I have had with just this gun. I have had to do this with 3 other guns that I own. I was expecting to have to have this done due to the fact that all gun manufactures take short cuts to save money in building guns and it seems most of the time it's the parts that should and need to be polished are left for the new owner to do. If this had been done I would have given it 5 stars.

I have bought 5 guns from buds and this was the first time they really let me down. It took 14 days to get it shipped to my ffl. Auto Ordinance AOM150 is a really great rifle. It is somewhat rough in apearance, wood grain is quite good. Gun shoots great, folding stock is sturdy.recoil is light, trigger is good. This is just plain fun to shoot. History of the m1 carbine is so cool. This is not a defensive ar-15 replacement, its the original and packs down so small 26 inches. Ammo is cheaper than rival rifles under 50cents apeice. Price is high you can buy an AK or AR for the money you spend on your m1a1 but cheaper than an original from the 40s. The low recoil, low noise, ease of carry is a true advantage over other rifles ie. 223/5.56 or 7.62x39/5.45x39. If you love America you will love this American warhorse buy one or two today.
