I already own a Tristar C-100 40S&W and was so impressed with it, I decided to pick up the P-120 40S&W and was not disappointed. A well-balanced, duty pistol with quite a bit of heft at 42 ounces. It feels really well built, the slide is very smooth and seems to have been manufactured at tight tolerances. Fits phenomenally in the hand (I'm a big guy at 6'4" with large hands) and shoots very smoothly, with a light recoil which I expected due to the weight and is easy to keep on target for follow up shots. Zero malfunctions through several hundred rounds in both the C-100 and P-120. I am not a huge fan of the factory 3 dot iron sights, but that is purely a personal preference. There are no functional issues with the sights, it's just they are very small dots and I prefer a slightly larger dot. The double action trigger is a long, heavy pull but it has a smooth buildup with a clean, crisp break. Very short reset with a light, excellent single-action pull. Nice, big controls. Manual safety, but no decocker, which I prefer. My only real negative is the slide release...you have to really reposition the pistol in your hand to release OR use your weak-handed thumb to release. For me, this was an unbelievable bargain for an excellent pistol.
