I currently used the Fiocchi Defense Dynamics 00 buck shot and thought I would try their slugs. I wasn't disappointed .... again! This is an accurate and easy on the shoulder slug. I do recommend their Defense Dynamics shotshells.

Shot 20 shells out of my Stoeger M3000 with 4 jams/cycling problems. I did not enjoy using this ammunition with all the cycling issues it presented. The M3000 is a semi-automatic, so perhaps these slugs may be more effective in pump or break actions where inertia-driven cycling mechanisms aren’t at play. Otherwise the slugs hit accurately and no misfires in the 20 I fired. Overall, keep these out of your semiautomatics.

Accurate and reliable. They function well in my pump. They should work just fine in autos that are able to cycle birdshot, or low velocity buck. The recoil isn't super light, but I don't mind standard velocity slugs, so these are even incrementally better.

I have found that low-recoil or reduced-recoil loads deliver better accuracy than high-base loads. There is less disruption behind the projectile resulting in improved accuracy. This load in my particular weapon provides me with 4" to 6" groups at 100 yards. I'm happy.
Also, having had neck surgery, the reduction in recoil allows me to have more trigger time before my "delicate sensibilities" become offended.
I haven't looked into wear of the weapon, but it would seem reasonable to conclude that when stresses are reduced on the gun, the need to replace parts due to wear and tear or breakage happens less often.
I like this ammo and similar offerings from other manufacturers.

Fired these out of my Stevens 320. Probably the most fun I have ever had shooting a shotgun. These plus a recoil pad make shooting slugs enjoyable and not body breaking.
Don't think ill buy anything else other than these from now on. Simply amazing.

I bought this ammo for my RIA vr80 .. my local range only allows slugs,(until i found a new range) I was using federal slugs, (which are great)
but had a VERY hard recoil,50 rounds later and a badly bruised shoulder i thought i'd try these,they fired flawlessly but did not have enough kick
to pull the bolt back for a reload,The recoil was very SOFT for a shotgun, and the shells were very clean in the box.They did not work for my weapon
but they are still worth 5 stars ...if you have a semi auto i'd recommend buying 1 box and see if they run well for you before buying a lot.

Good slugs for the price. Recoil is slightly less than full power slugs. Fired from a mossberg 835 with ic choke.

Real low recoil, sometimes forgetting that I'm shooting a 12 gage.

Finally found the time to take this ammo to the outdoor range, along with standard Winchester super X 12 gauge slugs. The difference in recoil is significantly noticeable. With these low recoil slugs, firing from the hip (or really any position) in quick succession is now a viable possibility. This ammo gives you a much more wieldy feel: making you Rambo of the range or home self defense. In a high stress situation (i.e. confined areas) this ammo will make a better impact. It's tempting to accept no substitutes .... Highly recommend.
