I patterned these in my Maverick 88, 24" cyl bore. They had a 11" 3 shot group at 100 yds. So, I backed down to 50 yds & got a 5" group. So, with these in my Maverick 88, 24" cyl bore rifle sights barrel, I wont shoot anything past 50 yds on deer size game. All shotguns are different. So, try at least 3-4 different brands of 12ga 1 oz slugs to see which brand of slugs Ur shotgun likes. I did go ahead & try these in my Benelli Nova 28" with the IC Choke installed & got better results at 100 yds. I achieved a 5 1/2" 3 shot grp at 100 yds. So, different shotguns, different results.
