This arrived in quick time to my FFL & was well packaged from the factory. I am running low cost ammo to break it in but is a wonderful little gun to play with at the range. It's primary goal is to be a varmint/hog hunter but plinking is also a lot of fun. Being single shot, it slows you down to concentrate on each shot. I am just using junk ammo but am still getting very tight groups right out of the box. I have read that it takes about 50-75 rounds to season the barrel for maximum accuracy so I will switch to more of a match grade ammo at that point. I have the V-max for varmint & hogs. I have a Redfield 3-9x42 on top which is perfect for the 100-200 foot range. The trajectory is almost flat out to 225 with premium ammo & poly tips. There is virtually no recoil with this rifle due to the 24" barrel & lower weight bullets. Great starter rifle for youth & new shooters who might be afraid of the noise or kick. I went with the pistol grip style butt stock on this rifle whereas my other handi's are traditional Monte Carlo wood & really gives a good solid feel to the hold with better control of the trigger squeeze. The synthetic forend is slightly longer than the wood. Easy enough to drill through & put a short picatanny rail there for a bipod or light. My only other thought is for a threaded barrel so I can install a flash suppressor or noise deflector. That would make this purchase perfect.

I like the pistol grip style butt-stock and heavy barrel this rifle offers. I went with a weaver 3x9x40 and grand slam rings. Nice rifle at a good price from Buds.
