The Winchester 300 Winchester Magnum 180 grain features a Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet that is coated with what Winchester refers to as Lubalox. This coating isn't considered Moly, but it helps with reducing fouling inside the barrel. This Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet is designed to retain 55 - 60 percent weight retention, and this is a good round for Elk and Black Bear sized game. Firing this round out of a 26 inch barrel with a 1-10 twist, yields on the average 1/2-3/4 inch MOA accuracy at 100 yards distance.
