This is the first center-fire handgun I bought and it was a good choice. I've had this one since 1993 in 6 inch blued and I love this gun. The DA trigger pull is a bit long & heavy but smooth and predictable. At the range I mainly shoot SA mode only and the pull is smooth and predicatable. It is extremely accurate, fun and easy to shoot. Excellent mid-caliber revolver.

Having owned many other, and most, much more expensive revolvers I would not trade my Ruger for any of them as far as performance! From grip to tip this little guy is the best medium caliber revolver Iv'e ever owned. It is accurate, comfortable, reliable(clean, or dirty), has the perfect heft for compatition action shooting in either .38, or the hottest 357 mag. It will handle any cartridge you can buy, or load, with ease and is smoothe as silk with any of them. Iv'e gone through about 10,000 rounds to date without a flaw! I think you can tell I like the gun. Thank you Mr. Bill Ruger, keep up the good work !
