Seems very similar to CCI SV, I would prefer Club or SABR Outlaw.

Eley Target Lead Round Nose 22 Long Rifle Ammo 50 Round Box Listed as subsonic but no barrel length specified. Using a suppressor and a 18" barrel it is supersonic! Too loud for me to use for backyard plinking. Because of the noise I haven't used it enough to have a real idea of it's accuracy although it seems OK. I'll have to use it in a pistol and won't purchase again.

great ammo for per 22 shooting

Shoots tighter groups than anything else I've shot through my CZ457 MTR other than Eley Match. We shot a few eggs today at 400 yards it took about 20 rounds but they were all around the egg tight. For the price of around a $1 more than CCI SV I'm going to order a couple thousand rds. The most important thing to me is consistency and at least this lot number is. Buds Shipping was fantastic!

More accurate and consistent (and costs more) than typical bulk .22 ammo. Shot very well in my revolvers and semiautos. Note that Ely bullets have more lubrication that most American 22lr bullets, which might require more frequent barrel cleaning, depending on how finicky you are about cleaning your 22s. Mags as well.

Eley Target is a good affordable practice round. Fairly consistent. Buds is always great to deal with and quick to ship.

I tried the Target's out of 2 different Savage's, a Ruger 10/22 and a CZ455 Varmint. They were 1/4 and 5/16 " out of the Savages, less than 3/8 " out of the Ruger and 5/8 " out of the CZ for 5 shots at 50 yards.

I don't hunt, so the ELEY Target ammunition is used for shooting at paper targets. Through my years (68) I have used many brands of .22 ammunition, by far ELEY Target is the best I have ever shot. I have shot other grades of ELEY and they were very accurate, but also cost more.

Shoots good but not as good as club or Tennessee or match

I use this for 50 meter Free Pistol practice. It's plenty accurate for my level of shooting which is right at 500/600. I'm not at a stage where I can tell the difference between Eley Target and Eley Tenex or Match. It's one of the few 22lr that has tight enough case dimensions to fit well in a Morini 84e pistol. CCI Standard Velocity and Federal Gold vary too much and get stuck in the chamber. The beeswax lubricant is nice as well. It's not oily like SK Standard Plus. My 1950s era High Standard Sport King also likes Eley Target.

I have been testing several 22LR ammo's and the Eley Target produced the best groups in my rifle out of the brands (approximately 20 different ammo's) I tested. Their SD and ES numbers were more consistent. Buds Gun Shop was very easy to order from and they processed my orders in a very timely manner.

Very accurate ammo. I use it every week for local shooting competitions. I am a little disappointed in the number of misfires I’ve been getting recently. Hoping it’s just an issue with this lot of ammo.

22LR ammo is very gun specific. This happens to be quite accurate in my Ruger 22 precision Rimfire rifle. Price is great, ammo consistent. Arrived on time. No doubt I will be ordering more!

I never thought that .22 ammo selection was all that important. Guess what? It does. I use this ammo for competition. It does very well.

I have used many many brands of .22 LR ammunition which varied: various grains, copper coated, hollow point, round nose lead, etc., then a gunsmith recommended ELEY TARGET grade .22 LR 40 grain round nose lead bullets.The gunsmith indicated ELEY produces many grades ($) of .22 LR ammunition & suggested to start with TARGET grade to determine if I liked them. I have used ELEY TARGET exclusively ever since, which I purchase from Bud's Gun Shop, because Bud's has the best prices & they always have them in stock! My standard order is 10 boxes which contain 50 rounds per box. I make an order about twice per month & receive the ammunition in 3-5 days. Great delivery time!!!
