I read a lot about what ammo is most recommended for AK's (I'm running a Zastava M70 N-PAP from Century Arms). When I got it, there were some sharp edges, burrs and other imperfections that I didn't want file/sand/polis down so I fired off 200 rounds with the open sights to get the action working smoothly - Every single round fed, fired, ejected perfectly.

Then, a good cleaning and back out to test out my new optic (Primary Arms 3X Compact Prism Scope with the 7.62X39/300BO ACSS Reticle). After only 10 minutes I was shooting 2 inch groups (bench) at 50yds which is the recommended zero for this optic. Gun and ammo combo way exceeded my expectations. I bought three,12"x24" AR500 silhouette targets to array around my range so I could plink at them... I'll still do that but after seeing what this gun is capable of I may find a way to challenge myself even more.

I was going to go with a brass round with boxer primer because I like to reload, but at this price I don't need to waste my time. I'll be back for more, and soon at the rate I'm burning this up.
