I have owned this little pistol for five years now and I have put hundreds of rounds down range without a single hiccup! I have ben a Buds customer since 2012 without a single problem of any kind

The Ruger LCP is Iconic in that it's so widely owned mine has been super reliable the capacity has been not an issue recoil is ridiculously Stout but manageable and as far as aftermarket parts go you won't have any issues there the only gripe I have with this gun is when the trigger resets it clicks twice and it throws me off other than that no issues

Great price on the popular LCP with the Viridian Laser! The laser works flawlessly and turns on and off automatically with the included sheath with the magnet inside. The pistol is good overall. The long and firm trigger pull hurts accuracy but it is necessary for safety and I am ok with that. The Ruger LCP is excellent for concealabilty and functions in a reliable manner with all the different cheap and quality ammo so far.

Fantastic little pistol. It comes with a holster sleeve which will shut off your Viridian green laser when the pistol is inserted... that way you can leave your laser "on" and don't have to fumble around with the button in a crisis. It's very lightweight, I barely notice it in a jacket or jeans pocket. It's a great alternative to a compact or full-sized carry pistol, and is perfect as a backup. I have used this with an ankle holster, and barely notice it's there. Another great Ruger product!

***** I love the latest version of the LCP. Bud's had a great deal that included the Viridian Green Laser. The newest model LCP has better sights and improved triggerr. The LCP takes a lickin'and keeps on tickin'. It will feed and fire any .380 ammo. It is a littlw snappy, but it is little. This firearm sees more CCW than any other firearm due to its small size, light weight and reliability. Also, it is accurate to point and shoot. **The Viridian Green Laser that came with this LCP is OK. One issue with Viridian is that their instant on setting will cause the laser batteris to discharge after a few weeks even though you do not use th laser. I understand why the battteries go dead, but think Viridian should be up front about battery life when using the instant on setting. The batteries are a PITA to change. The laser off/on/auto setting is hard to set. If the laser had a simple off/on switch it would be great. As it is, your choices are to set it on automatic (comes on when you draw it from the holstter) or fumble around trying to push a recessed button while trying to not shoot off a finger.

If it shoots as well as i looks, I will be extremely happy. Laser batteries were dead on arrival but box contained a replacement set, very easy to change out . Magazine lock isn't the best but with some breaking in i'm sure will work out. Holster contains magnet inside so when weapon is holstered it automatically shuts laser off, when weapon is removed laser turns back on. Great feature!!

Bought this gun for a pocket pistol, a get off me gun, didnt expect accuracy when buying this gun my only hopes was I could fit it in my front pocket. I can gun fits nicely in my front pocket un noticed. Took it out of box a set of batteries was in the gun and two other sets were in box. Set in gun was already dead which sucked I had to replace the batteries as soon as I opened it. Would have really liked to have three sets havent lookes into how much they cost yet. Took it out fired 100 rounds of cheap steel cased ammo through it without one malfunction. Laser is amazing take it out at night and its distance is as powerful and bright as any 300$ laser ive ever seen.

Got mine today, had the same battery deal, they were dead! For some reason I also thought it was supposed to come with an extra magazine. Oh well, I like it and the price has already increased on this baby.

everything looked good out of the box. only disapointment for me was that the batteries were put in the laser before i got it and they were dead so had to buy new ones.

Went to shoot thus little gem today. Everything went fine and laser was easy to sight in. The only complaint I have about the gun is the magazine catches while inserting and you have to push harder than I would like to get magazine in. Easy to take down and clean. Field stripping is easy once you do it once. To learn how to do it the first time is..well.. confusing. It is a nice little gun and would recommend it to anyone.

Great service and fast shipping from Bud's as always! The LCP is about what you would expect for the price. Disappointed in Ruger's overall quality and design on the mag and mag release system...could have been much better on a weapon designed primarily for the ladies. Mags are hard to seat and misaligned when you do manage to slam it home. The bottom of the mag can be moved front to rear 1/16" or more and stays in the extreme forward position when seated causing an offset of the frame and pinky extension. My husband disassembled the gun and tweaked the mag release and mags...it is now... as it should have been from the factory. The little gun does shoot well and the recoil and trigger does not seem as bad to me as some people would have you believe...very manageable even for a lady. Machine work on the barrel leaves a lot to be desired..rough all over and gouged on the lug.You get what you pay for..but i expected more from a name like Ruger.

This is a great little pocket CCW. I purchased this for a tiny, unnoticeable pocket CCW for work as my work attire kind of limits my choices for carrying. I was hoping for a backup pistol with a laser sight in case I ever need it at work but this pistol surpassed my expectations. I was about to go to my LGS to buy a Bodyguard 380 with CT laser and called beforehand and they had sold the one I looked at when picking up my last purchase from buds. After a little more searching and watching of youtube reviews I decided to go with the LCP as it had more features at a cheaper price. PRO's: To start the LCP has a smaller barrel with sights that are truly snag - free which is a must for a pocket CCW but the extremely low profile, non-changeable sights are made up for by the very visible green Viridian laser. The green laser is easier to see in the day light than the red light, it features a steady beam, pulsating beam and off function cycled in that order by pushing the on button once. The light also features the ECR Viridian feature which basically is a feature that automatically turns the laser on when drawn from the holster supplied with this firearm. Viridian makes a kit to turn any holster into an ERC holster but all it takes to activate this system is a magnet, you can pickup a sticky sided piece of magnet tape at any Walmart for cheaper and do it yourself. I didn't think I would use the supplied holster as I was just going to keep the pistol in my pocket...well, that didn't last long. The ECR feature with the holster is a GREAT advantage/feature and the holster does add little bit of bulk to the pistol but surprisingly it actually makes the pistol more concealable. The bottom of the holster has a fin that sticks out to about the end of the handle and this fin has a triple effect of catching your pocket on draw to keep the holster in your pocket when drawn, makes the pistol "print" a whole lot less noticeable in dress pants and gives your fingers something to press against when drawing the pistol. The laser is X and Y adjustable also with the supplied hex wrench. The magazine comes with a flat and extended baseplate, it comes with 3 sets of batteries for the laser, you can field strip the pistol with no tools and it also comes with a neoprene case. This is a good close quarters pistol and have had no FTE's or FTF's with any ammo. It's has a good solid weight but the weight is easily unnoticeable when carrying fully loaded in your pocket, I think my cell phone weighs more than it. CON's: The main 2 reasons I rated this a 4 and not a 5 are the laser's on/off switch is on the left side only which makes absolutely no sense to me. There should be a switch on both sides as every other Viridian product has. If it was on the right side then it would be right where your finger sits when drawing the pistol if you're right handed. If you're right handed and use correct hand positioning when holding your pistol then you have to turn the gun to the left to turn the laser on with your left thumb. As I only carry it with the pistol holstered and ECR on so it doesn't bother me as much but I just don't get why they didn't think this one through. The 2nd reason is there is no manual safety. I would think the need for one in a pocket pistol is obvious but I guess not. Although the holster covers the trigger so it doesn't get snagged when using it as a pocket pistol. The battery life on the laser also absolutely sucks. The batteries pre-installed were almost dead already and the replace battery light was flashing when I first turned the laser on. So the 2nd set lasted about a day and a half with little use, only sighting the pistol...so it lasted probably an hour total on steady and pulsating beams. So this leads me to try to be very quick when chamber checking the pistol when drawing from the ECR holster before my day starts. Also, it only comes with 1 magazine with replacements running about $30 but as I carry it as a backup pistol I don't need to carry an extra mag. All in all, I love the pistol and would purchase it over any other .380 pocket pistol in a heartbeat. I've had no functionality problems and it seems like a solidly built little pistol. I would definitely recommend purchasing the Hogue LCP grip to go along with this as it adds a lot of grip and bulk to this 2 fingered pocket pistol and only runs about $7.

Another fantastic deal from Bud's Police Supply. I bought this gun and I didn't know I was also getting a carrying case, lock, extra batteries and the special holster that activates the viridian. Perfect legal conceal carry size and the Ruger quality and the Bud's service and price and use their green list of FFL's, I used Joe's Gun Shop, top notch service all the way.

What can you say about this that hasn't already been said? Great little gun and what a value with the included Viridan laser! As-is, a nice piece, but adding on the custom Hogue grip and replacing the stock guide rod and recoil springs, and you have yourself one of the best little guns you can get. Just make sure to work on your accuracy!

Holy cow! What a price for what you get. Buying these two separately is at least $450 anywhere else. Buds shipped it the 2nd day after purchase which I thought was great even though this wasn't a Fast Track gun. I was able to put about 200 rounds through it the 1st day at the range and had no issues whatever so ever. The recoil is less than I thought it would be and follow up shots stayed tight. I am by no means a dead eye. The Gen. 2 sights are higher than the 1st gen. and was very accurate up to 30 yards. The laser came assembled and was able to be sighted in w/in about 15 rounds. The green laser is extremely bright when compared to any red laser and was clearly visible at 100 yards on a 16" white gong. The trigger half cocks when pulling back the slide and has much less travel when compared to a Kahr P380 and it's nearly as smooth. I have to say it's the perfect pocket pistol. The holster it comes activates the laser when withdrawn and turns off when re-holstered. It fits nicely in the front pocket of cargo shorts and I think it will be the perfect summer carry weapon. I even tried carrying it in the holster IWB and it was comfortable, but probably not necessary since it will fit in the pocket w/no issues. The other great thing is the endless after market accessories that are available due to the LCP's popularity.
