Very fun to shoot. My 12 year old loves it as I do. I just mounted a scope on it which makes it even better for a youth shooter. I highly recommend this . 22 AR.

This little .22 is great, it is an excellent shooter and I have had no issues. It is a great teaching tool for the young shooter, it teaches to shoot with open AR sites and the functions of an AR. My 10 year old can now site in an AR 15 and knows all of its functions. He loves to shoot it, and is good at it. I highly recommend this rifle if you are an AR fan.

I love this 22... have it set up just like my 556 rifles. Great trainer and great for shooting at ranges that won't allow rifle calibers. Buds is the best and plan on dealing with them for years to come.

I purchased this product for a couple of reasons. I am using it as a plinker and a cheaper trainer for my .223. There isn't much to say about the gun. It works without any issues. It is what you would expect from a Smith and Wesson. I would like to comment on Bud's Gun Shop. My experience was great. I get the qualified profession discount. Never ordering a firearm online, I was unsure of everything necessary. The salesperson on the phone was professional and a great help to me. Everything went off without a hitch. The shipping was very fast. I was even surprised at the price. The price was cheaper than the LE discount at the local LE dealer. I have heard bad reviews about Bud's. You won't hear one here. My experience was positive from beginning to end. Thank you Bud's.

Fun, fun rifle! This M&P 15-22 Sport is great. After receiving it, I oiled it up and shot a few hundred rounds of mixed 22lr through it without a single problem. I could only fit 23 rounds in the magazine.... oh well, no big deal. Everything operates just like an AR should. The buttstock can be replaced with any mil-spec buttstock. Same with the pistol-grip. I finally bought this rifle because 22lr ammo is mostly available again where I live. I glad I waited for this, because this new Sport model just feels great. I also tested some CCI Quiet ammo. It would eject the empty case, but would not feed the next round, so you will have to cycle the bolt with each shot, but that's what I expected. The shots sounded like a high-powered air rifle and the point-of-impact was about the same at 50-ft. I haven't had a chance to try it at longer distances yet. Buds was also great. I got the rifle within a week after ordering, and my FFL only had good things to say about Buds.

A great learning platform to teach my youngest son transitioning from standard hunting rifles to tactical style. If budget is important and don't wanna sacrifice quality, choose the S&W over others.

Buds shipped fast as always. I haven't test fired it yet but everything seems to look good. The S&W 15-22 Sport gen 2 is built well and one of the best options for an AR trainer/plinker and overall great fun. I couldn't find a lower price and always make sure to checkout Buds first.
