S&W M&P15 Sport State Compliant 10+1 223REM/5.56NATO 16"

Great price on this gun from Buds!! I paid $616 in July, 2012 which means I saved over $250 by going through Buds instead of my local gun stores. I live in NY and this gun seemed like one of the better AR style rifles available that was "NY compliant" (the assault weapons ban is still in effect in New York State). The gun arrived in great shape; shipping was pretty quick. The M&P 15 Sport feels solid, shoulders well and even though I have not yet fired it, I'm anticipating that it will meet all of my needs once I take it out and put it through its paces. I did a lot of research before I purchased this gun and I heard nothing but good things, so I'm pretty confident that I'll enjoy it for years to come. In my opinion, one of the best video reviews on this gun was done on Youtube by a guy named "Nutnfancy." He does an excellent, thorough, and unbiased review of this gun and that's what finally made me decide to order the M&P 15 Sport from Buds. Go to Youtube and type in "Nutnfancy S&W M&P 15 Sport." This gun does not have a forward assist or dust cover, but in my opinion, considering the area and climate I live in, I decided I could do without those options. Make sure you understand that this is the "CT, MA, MD, NJ, NY compliant" model of the M&P 15 Sport for states with the AWB still in effect. Smith & Wesson makes a model of this gun with the retractable stock, flash suppressor, 30 round mag for all the other states where that's legal - that model's number is 811036. In his video review, Nutnfancy uses model #811036... which is the same as this gun except for the few features I previously mentioned. If you have any specific questions, check out Smith & Wesson's website or call them first before ordering - their customer service has a pretty good reputation.
