I was disappointed in this handy little .22. the sights are terrible. It was a great little toy to practice quick successive shooting while pointing down range, but it was not accurate at all even after painting the front sight post. Something has broken and the hammer no longer engages with mine. I think the idea behind the pistol was nice but the build is no more than 85% of what it needs to be.

Love the browning 22, shoots very good, nice feel, no problems thus far.

Nice little gun. Fun to shoot except sights are terrible. The original 1911 sights were bad, but this is a smaller scale model so the sights are even smaller. Both are black and it's hard to pick up the front sight in the rear sight notch. I painted the front sight white and it made a world of difference.

This is a FUN gun. Shoots well. If I have had hang-ups, very few. Gun is the right size for general fun plinking. It's made well and disassembles easily. Works just like a full size 1911. The gun is too expensive from the perspective of what goes into it. About $550/lb! Supply and demand I guess. I don't regret buying it though. Have owned it for 5+ years.

This baby 1911 pistol is new to me but I'm liking it better than my 9mm, because it's more accurate, more fun to shoot, and I haven't had any failure with it yet. And because it's a .22 LR, it's so cheap to shoot.

This is an amazing little pistol! I chose the Browning because it has an all metal frame unlike some of the cheaper .22 1911’s. The fit and finish of this pistol is excellent and it feels very high quality. I have had zero malfunctions so far after 100+ rounds. Yes there are many cheaper options, but you get what you pay for and this gun is worth every penny.

A miniature lightweight type bb gun that shoots 22s. How cool is that? Awesome replica of a 1911 a1. Lightweight and tiny. So cool. Thank you buds for all that you do. Oh. Incidentally. Your cash price and no cash price is still unbeatable and really appreciate your layaway plan for i probably wouldn't be able to buy it without the layaway plan option

Great little .22 1911. Well made as you would expect from Browning. Grips are nice and finish is flawless. It comes with a very nice plastic case. I wish it came with two magazines. I put orange glow paint on the front sight to help with the G.I. type sights. I ran 100 rounds of CCI Mini-Mags through the pistol and only had one FTF. The Browning was very accurate with almost no recoil. It is really fun to shoot and I can't wait to burn up a lot of .22's. I know these Browning 1911's are expensive compared to others but, you get what you pay for. I also have a .380 1911 and a Black Label .22. Both have been very reliable and eat any kind of ammo I have put in them.

First, let me give a big thank you to budsgunshop for another smooth and easy transaction. Their services and prices are two reasons why I come back time after time. Second, thank you to Browning for making such a great firearm in the 1911-22. They really hit it out of the ballpark with this little gem. Let's be honest, this thing is cute! So, I took this little future family heirloom to the range on a cold and cloudy 66° day in California at an outdoor range. I first started out with some Federal bulk ammo I had sitting around for about 5 years. I loaded the magazine and shot. What a great pistol! I ended up shooting about 240 rounds through it with no problems at all. I also shot some Aguila, CCI standard and Mini Mags, Federal Match bulk pack, Remington Thunderbolt and some Winchester Hyper Velocity. It cycled through all rounds flawlessly. I about 4 mags of double taps without issue. I did 5 mags of rapid fire without issue. The browning is small, but actually feels very well in the hands. All the components are easy to reach. The casings eject very well and out of the way. The magazine release is butter! The mag drops out so fast! Be cautious. During inspection at the FFL, I dropped the magazine because I didn't expect it to come out so smoothly and quickly. The drop did not affect functionality. The mag drops out smoother than many of my other handguns. The sights are blacked out. I wish it had 3 dots or something, but Browning was going for a miniature replica of the original 1911, which had blacked out sights. You can always use nail polish to color the front sight if you need it. It's not much of a drawback to me because this thing is accurate! I'm no professional, but I sure felt I was all cool because my 2 inch and 6 inch Birchwood Casey Shoot-n-c targets had a whole lot of holes at 10,15 and 20 yards. I can't wait until my 1911-22 is fully broken in. The magazine, only 1 included, has ribbed tabs on each side to assist in loading if needed. I didn't need it. All safety features were tested and all functioned as intended. Lastly, I actually don't like this gun. I love it!! The only problem I find with this gun is that I want another one. Haha! I recommend cleaning and lubricating the gun before its first time out to the range. I do it with all my guns. That way I can narrow it down if I had any issues. It wouldn't be an issue of not enough lube, loose parts noticed during cleaning, etc. This can either be a first gun or a 100th gun....doesn't matter. I hope this helps anyone trying to make a decision.

Buds Gun Shop 6 * * * * * * Stars! My second firearm purchase from Buds another Great Price, and Super Fast Shipping! I'll Always be back Bud! Purchased this 1911-22 for the Wife and Kids to learn on rather than my 1911-45. ThisFull-Size 1911-22 (85% the size of a 1911-45) was the way-to-go. This is a work of art, everything is exactly like a true 1911, except for the 22 barrel and firing pin. The thing breaks down just like a 1911 should. Fit and Finish is impeccable a true work of art from Browning! If they can't figure it out who can? Shoots true and very accurate. Thank you again Buds Gun Shop

This gun works perfect with Browning ammo. I shot over 200 rounds without any misfire/jamming before having to clean it. I was amazed with its smooth action and small kick back. When I tried Remington or CCI .22 ammo it would often misfire or jam up about every 6 rounds. I bought 3,000 Browning rounds this weekend when I discovered a sale online (not Bud's...grin). This gun only came with one ten round magazine and yet there were two slots for magazines in the gun case. It's not easy loading the magazine as my nicked up fingers attest to. Buying additional magazines online I've found to run around $35 each.

I fired approx.2000 rounds of different brand of ammo and not a single problem every single bullet works for this gun. the only issue that I have is for a $500 firearm I wish browning added 2 mags and that will complete my purchase excellent gun but very expensive the only reason why I bought this gun is I have a collection of 1911 and I have to own one of this firearm..

What a great little gun. Purchased it for my wife as I got her interested in shooting. Took her to the store to handle different handguns. The Browning was love at first sight. This is a 1911 22LR light weight semi auto. Suggest you review the specs before buying. This great firearm is for a certain type of shooter. I personally shoot 40, 45, 357, etc. but this is a fun little gun.

Thank you to Buds for a smooth transaction. This is a nice little gun. It is pretty small though, so be advised, however its a quality product and feels good in the hand and slide and frame are tight with little rattle. I have not had the pleasure to shoot this thing yet but am looking forward to it.

Nicely made little (really little and really light!) pistol that works flawlessly and is fun to shoot! Mine came with double-diamond checkered grips, not the plastic advertised - this was a nice surprise. The plastic case has dedicated slots for two spare mags (not included). If you take the padlock out, you have room to carry 150 rounds of ammo. After reading the manual and cleaning/lubricating the pistol, I went to the range. 170 flawless firings using a mixture of CCI Mini-Mags, CCI Standard Velocity and Federal Premium Gold Medal Target and 3 different magazines. The trigger is much better than I expected - crisp with a short reset. Magazines eject smartly, even though the pistol has a magazine disconnect (wish it didn't). This is not a target pistol, but it is a high-quality arm that is well designed and executed. This was my first internet pistol purchase and it went butter-smooth; I had my 1911-22 A1 6 days after ordering it and Bud's e-mails let me know when it would arrive.
