Ruger 3200 LC9 7+1 9mm 3.12"
by Lawrence S Date Added: Saturday 15 October, 2011
This is a really good gun for the money. The overall weight and size make for an ideal carry weapon. After receiving from my FFL, I did a light cleaning and then took to the range. The gun functioned perfectly. It is a real pleasure to shoot with very little recoil. With three dot sights far superior to the sights on my LCP, I found target acquisition was excellent. I fired 50 rounds of Winchester WB and 20 rounds of Hornady Critical Defense with no issue. As others have said it does have a long trigger pull that might take some getting used to, but for a carry weapon I prefer this. I also do not might the manual safety which provides firm physical feedback as you engage/disengage. The only one negative feature I have found is the magazine disconnect safety. I hope Ruger decides to make that an option in future versions of this otherwise fine handgun.
