this is my range toy wanted something like the wrangler but better sites built little heaver . Fun range toy accurate cheap to shoot should last a lifetime.

Did I need this gun? No. Did I want this gun? Yes. It is fun to shoot. It has a nice heft that gives me a nice feel in my hand and confidence in my shooting. It is surprisingly accurate out past ten yards. I am a Ruger fan, and this gun has not disappointed me.

The Ruger single ten is a quality single action revolver just like all Ruger firearms. The fit and finish is very good. Its fiber optic sights are easy to see and on target out of the box. Probably the best part is the ten shots from a .22 revolver. This has become my choice when I want to do some plinking or have a pest problem. I have ordered from Bud’s several times and always received great service and hard to beat prices.

I purchased the Ruger Single Ten a few years ago and it has functioned flawlessly and is very accurate.

5 Stars all the way! That front sight makes targeting quick and easy. Beautiful handgun. An outdoor person should have this gun, shot shells for snakes, LR for small game. Great gun!

Exceptional 10-shot revolver. Fit and finish is excellent as is handling and shooting

Bud's was great, the gun was also great, until is ceased to function after thirty-two rounds of .22 long rifle. The cylinder latch stopped dropping (releasing) upon the cocking of the revolver, this limited the ability to cock the single ten unless the cylinder was removed from the frame. As you know, these things work correctly only when they have the ability to fire. I was disappointed, but I have contacted Ruger service to have them send me the information to return it to the factory for a repair. ON the positive side, the gun's finish and appearance is great. I am sure they will make it right, but this is the first Ruger I have ever had fail to work as designed so soon into it's service life. Looking back, the lack of smoothness in the action felt different, but my assumption was that it just needed to be smoothed out through usage. It'll be fixed, I'm sure.

i dont realy know where to start my review. i never had a revolver before this purchase of the ruger single 10 but i heard so much about it, all positive opinion and i have decided on buying it and to see if all the opinion, and youtube videos are true.AFTER TAKING IT TO THE RANGE to see how it preform. i was not DISAPPOINTED AT ALL .THE REVOLVER operate just like you and ruger claim. all the youtube video,s were right about this firearm. IT IS THE BEST REVOLVER EVER,. im sure glad that i had the opportunity to get a hold of one.

The stainless-steel construction of the Ruger Single-Ten is not only striking in appearance but solid in feel. The slim gunfighter grips make it easy to hold and a pleasure to shoot. The ten-capacity cylinder is easy to remove and replace, and is positioned for perfect timing, and very little head space. The Single-Ten incorporates the Ruger patented transfer bar, making this firearm safe to carry fully loaded. The ejection rod lines up well with each cylinder click, allowing for fast ejection of empty cartridges.

This firearm is well balanced, and with the 5.5” barrel, the Single-Ten is very accurate. Obtaining and holding a good sight picture is effortless with the adjustable William sights. Each increment of adjustment of the sights has a defined click, which makes it easy to sight in the firearm. (Note review the manual on sight adjustment: adjusting windage is the opposite than that of the Single-Six).
I believe the Ruger Single-Ten is the best built, most accurate, and best looking single-action .22LR available in today’s market.

Love Ruger products, I have revolvers, carbines and they all shoot great. Can't go wrong with this single ten for target shooting on the single aciton.

As always the shipping was excellent , the Ruger single 10 performed perfect right out the box,very well made pistol. I've bought several firearms from Bud's in the past and every transaction has been excellent.

I recently purchased the Ruger 8100 Single-Ten 10RD 22LR 5.5" from BUDS on a Sunday and had the revolver in my hands on the following Wednesday afternoon. Great gun and really recommend BUDS for their great service and pricing. Also, Point Blank West in Cincinnati for handling the FFL transfer while waving the transfer fees upon my purchase of their discounted Ammunition. This gun will not disappoint and is worth the investment.

The Ruger arrived in what looked to be excellent shape. I did however forget to check the ejector rod function when I picked the gun. After some lubrication and work, the ejector is functional. At the range, it shoots great, nice trigger, and it is a tack driver. The pistol looks even better than the picture and has the feel that it will last. On the nit-picking side, the Ruger box it ships in is pathectic; a plastic shell, no foam, just a plastic bag. This is a $500 pistol.

Great little revolver all around. Ruger makes a very accurate fun little revolver in this one. My wife likes shooting revolvers, but isn't so enthusiastic about hard recoil, so this little gem fits the bill just fine. She has been shooting at 20yds and keeps a 4" grouping most of the time. Since she has learned how to fan it, she has a smile from ear to ear. Buds shipped quickly, and the price was well worth the quality and construction.

Nice gun. Good heavy revolver. Adjustable sights take some work to set but the gun is fun to shoot. If you just want a fun plinking revolver, this is a nice one to have.

What an amazing piece of art this Ruger SA revolver is...a real pleasure to shoot, accurate, very pleased. I bought this simply to plink with at the range. Some times all the hi cap 9's and 45's and the high energy mil spec rifles need to stay at the house and make room for the .22's...lotsa fun!

This Ruger is sweet! Love it! The grips feel very good in your hands. Shoots smooth as silk, hardly any recoil to speak of. Great all around pistol. Ruger does it again. So does Buds.

I finally picked up my guns today from my original FFL dealer. Wow, the Ruger lives up to its reputation, rugged, well engineered and fun to shoot. I purchased both the Ruger Single Ten and the Single Nine from Bud’s Gun Shop Online. Buds, however was a big disappointment. Although I purchased both guns for the cash price of $481.00 each, by the time I paid for two FFL dealers the guns cost me $543.50 each. Why two FFL dealers you ask. This was a mistake made by one of the customer service managers at Buds. In mid February, I came back home to West Virginia to visit my Mother for a few weeks. I am a Virginia resident and have been one for the past forty years. Anyway, while there I decided to purchase the two Ruger pistols that I had been researching for the last three months. On February 20, 2014, I place an online order with Buds Online Gun Shop for both Ruger pistols. On the order form I filled out the billing address as the one in West Virginia. This is where I wanted the bill to be sent since I would be there for another couple of weeks. The FFL dealer I chose was one in Virginia that I have known for years and I am also a Virginia resident. Soon after I sent in my order, I got an email from Buds requesting that I contact them by phone. The next day I called and spoke to the aforementioned customer service manager. He informed me that since I gave a billing address for West Virginia that I needed a FFL dealer in West Virginia. I explained to him that I was just visiting in WV and I was a VA resident and would send him a copy of my driver’s license and concealed weapons permit to prove it. He told me “It doesn’t matter, since you give a WV address on your order you need an FFL dealer in WV”. Well I should have suggested canceling the order and change my billing address to VA., but unfortunately I did not. I chose one of their recommended FFL dealers from their list in WV. This satisfied the expert customer service manager and the order was processed. On February 28, 2014 I was called by the WV FFL dealer and told that my guns were in and come pick them up. When I showed up I inspected them carefully and they were in pristine condition. I felt like a small kid with their first BB gun. The WV FFL dealer asked for my driver’s license and another form of identification. I quickly gave him my VA driver’s license and concealed weapons permit. He looked at them and said “you are a VA resident and you cannot buy a firearm in WV”. I explained the conversation to him that I had with the customer service manager at Bud’s. He then said “this clown from Bud’s should have known that a VA resident cannot buy a gun in WV”. Long story short he told me he would deliver the guns to my original FFL dealer in VA for $25 per gun. The VA FFL dealer is eight miles from his shop, so I paid him $50 to deliver the guns that evening, I then paid my VA FFL dealer the additional $50 for the paper work and took my guns home. I called Bud’s that night to let them know what happened. I was finally able to speak to the original clown who had me change to the WV FFL dealer. He said it was not his fault it was mine. I told him if he could give me an in store credit for $50 I would be satisfied and continue buying from Bud’s. I have bought three guns from them in the past three months and planned on buying the Ruger SR-762 and the Mossberg 590A1 shotgun next week. He told me that if I was dissatisfied that I could take my business somewhere else. This is what I plan to do. I also plan to post this letter on every gun forum I belong to. I have already posted it on www.complaintboard.com. Look for my post; I know that this will be deleted from Bud’s page. I am also going to contact the Better Business Bureau tomorrow and give them this copy of my complaint. I strongly recommend all of you future gun purchasers to read the numerous complaints on www.complaintboard.com (National Consumer Complaint Forum) before you purchase anything from Bud’s Gun Store. Definitely my new favorite gun! Everything about this gun is sweet. The sights are VERY easy to acquire and are click adjustable. The gun itself is extremely accurate and its a revolver so it is very reliable. Trigger is crisp and light.Not sure on the exact pull but it feel like around 3lbs? Feels like a natural to just point a shoot. Balance is great. Rugers gunfighter grips are great. Just shot it yesterday and cleaned it now the action and cylinder are silky smooth. Arrived USPS Priority in two day after being shipped in perfect condition. This was my first time buying a gun online and Bud's really did me right! Won't be my last. This is a beautiful gun that can fill every role you could want in a 22 pistol. The wife loves it too! This gun has that spirit of the west!

What's not to like. Being a Ruger fan from way back I just had to have one of these. The Hi Viz sights are great. Nice thing about revolver is that they aren't to picky on the ammo! . A great pistol to add to any collection whether it be for target, hunting or safe queen.

excellent gun. It took 500 rounds to start to smooth out and feel "good" Rear sight pin is a bit loose but i'll get around to tightening it in. Would highly recommend it.
