For an all around easy hunting rifle, it’s hard to beat this Savage/Nikon scope package. I replaced the scope rings with my personal choice of rings due to it being a 300 win mag, but in all it’s a good rifle and it groups 1 MOA as it should. And for that price, I couldn’t pass it up.

Solid rifle, really great price. I've put almost 40 cartridges through it. Tight groups at 100 yards after 10 shots, now at 200 yards. Bolt action is smooth, consistent action and ejection. Nikon scope works just fine, no issues so far and at this point I don't anticipate any. I've already recommended this package to two friends.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Not a bad rifle for the price. .300 WM delivers a hard punch. The scope is kind of lame and has very basic features. But not bad for the price.

Overall a great rifle. The scope was not mounted tightly and had to take care of that at the range while sighting the rifle. The trigger on this weapon is fantastic. The gun is lightweight and accurate. The Nikon scope is great addition in this price range; certainly a better optic than the Bushnell scopes often included with combo rifles in this price range. The only real issue I have with the gun is that the rear tang surrounding the safety switch is not flush with the stock. The safety functions but this is something that will need correcting. You can actually see the safety selector spring through the gap from the rear of the rifle; about a 1/4 inch gap. This will allow easy access for dirt near the safety switch and possibly could snag on something. If not for this element I would have awarded the rifle 5 stars.

You can't beat Bud's price and delivery. The gun was all I expected and much more, great to shoot and lightweight which is important for those long hunts. I highly recommend Bud's and the Savage 11 Trophy Hunter!

Excellent gun! Fired it straight from the box and only took one quick adjustment to get it zeroed. Scope is very nice for the price. Trigger pull is the best I have ever personally fired, the gun is very light and it handles both factory and hand loaded rounds excellently! Very happy I bought this gun!
