Its not the best, but 6 shot instead of 5 is good enough for in a small frame revolver. The gun is very accurate with mild recoil on the .357 side of it. Many people say S&w makes the best 357 revolvers if you like to go to the range a lot, but this Rossi is strictly for self defense only. the only dislike is the grips on the thang, I got medium hands but still can't get a right grip on it.When I took it to the range my hand seem to go to high on it, and would cause my index to sit to high on the trigger not causing the trigger to go all the way back to release the hammer, not so good. I know i could adjust how i Held the gun, but in life or death no chance to adjust your grip, so i Did an inexpensive adjustment, got about 7 rubber bands yeah, rubber bands and wrap it around the handle, now every time i grip it my index is in the right place( middle of the trigger). No miss fires here just big wheels turning.
