is a great gadget, however I have to return it because I couldn't possibly see how i could fit a 9mm or .380acp magazine in the slot. maybe I received the wrong speed loader even though it stated on the package it was for .380/9mm mags

Works great on my Ruger lcp ll. Took a few minutes to get how to load with this auto loader.

Did not work in my application but well made.

Good speedloader for the price. Takes some practice and figuring out as the directions are both unclear and ineffective.

The HKS Speedloader worked perfectly...the PT709 magazine fit snug and the loader was easy to operate WITHOUT having to rest the magazine on some type of support surface. Great product at a good price.

I recently bought a Taurus 709 Slim. The magazine is difficult to load by hand and really tears up your thumb. So I ordered this HKS Mag Speedloader (Model 943) and it works like a champ! I thought I read another review of this product and they said it wouldn't fit their Taurus 709 magazine. Mine fits perfectly. You will need to adjust the location of the slide foot which sets the height of your magazine after you insert it into the loader. If it's too high you'll have trouble getting the "foot" of the loader out of the way to load the next round into the magazine. If it's set too low, the loader won't depress the magazine follower far enough to allow you to put a round into the magazine. Great piece of kit!

Works amazing for the Beretta .380 but my 9mm Smith and Wesson Shield is too big for it so that was a bummer.
