It's not pretty, but it will get the job done. Very accurate and easy to clean. Priced right. If you want something just to go deer hunting and not worry about getting it all scratched up, this is the gun!

Great value. The pre-installed scope mount not only fit perfectly but saved the additional expense of having to buy a scope mount required on other brands. The magnum capability at that price was a plus. Also, the palm saver which attached to the ram rod and fit under the barrel was a nice addition.

Awesome gun for the price. Light weight, accurate, easy to disassemble and clean, and doesn’t break the bank. I was shooting 1” groups at 100 yards with Hornady 250 grain SST low drag bullets and 115 grains of Blackhorn 209 (by volume). Even during this pandemic, Buds still got this gun to me in about 10 days. Awesome muzzleloader for anyone wanting just a simple gun and not wanting to spend a ton of money on one.

Great muzzleloader. This is my first one and i bought it for the muzzleloader season in IN. I followed CVA's recommendation of 2 white hots and powerbelt bullets. Excellent accuracy at 100 yards. Less than 1 inch groups. My father bought the CVA acurra v2 and we didnt see a diffence in accuracy between my wolf and his accura. Except his muzzleloader is longer and heavier.

Package arrived within 5-days and in good condition. Mounted a Tasco brand muzzleloader scope on the DuraSight mount, did a bore-sight at about 80-yards, cleaned and lubricated rifle before going to range. First three shots at 50-yards were within four inches. At 100-yards, groups varied from six to nine inches, never touched the scope elevation or windage settings. Large groups were the fault of the shooter not the rifle (sitting bench rested on my hand and elbow). Used 100 grains of Pyrodex with a 240 grain sabot lead bullet. This is my first CVA product (longtime Traditions customer) and seems well made and tight fitting and allows you to remove and thoroughly clean the firing pin and spring. Sturdy and usable ramrod with brass jag is an extra bonus and can be used in the field. Excellent product for the price. CVA seems to use a heavy coat of storage/shipping protectant grease as I had to spend significant time cleaning it off.

This little cheapo gun is great for our limited muzzleloader season in TX. Has a great recoil pad and awesome trigger. Have no complaints.

great little gun but like all muzzle loaders you have to clean it after every shot this gun is flat from 15 yrds to 75 yrds with good ammo. expect 1 1/2 " groups at 100yrds

First off shipping was great! Took less than a week to arrive and arrived complete with great packing. Out of the box everything looked sharp and worked well! I bought and mounted a scope and the mount that came with it works like a champ. Very nice one piece mount for best accuracy! I finally got to shoot it last weekend and all I can say is WOW! I had Dick's sporting goods bore sight in my scope which got me on the target at 50 yards for first shot. Only took 3 more shots to zero in and this thing is so accurate it can hit quarters at 50 yards with a 100 grain charge of White Hots and a 250 g Aerolite Powerbelt! Before I even shot the thing I was making sure everything worked properly and I cocked it and fired to make sure the pin was working and my hammer spur flew off and the threads broke off inside the hammer. I immediately contacted Buds and they got with CVA and shipped one out to me immediately free of charge. This gun shop is absolutely amazing and has a new 110% satisfied customer and I fully recommend this muzzleloader and this gun shop to anyone! Thanks BudsGunShop!

The CVA wolf come in the mail yesterday. I love it.... After getting help putting a scope on it.... ( My husband ex army ranger sniper ) we did something called bore sight.. Loaded with 100 gr of powder ( 2 pellets ) and a 295 gr copper hollow point , at 50 yards my first shot was 3 in to the left and at the top of the dot I was aimming at. After 4 shots my CVA wolf is shooting the same bullet hole out of the top of the dot dead on every shot... I love it how easy it is to load.
