Loaded with Hornady Critical Defense, there is no better home defense weapon. Fantastic stopping power without having to worry about hitting someone in the next room. Bud's was great as usual!

Decent handgun, but I almost immediately got rid of it. Unwieldy. There are no holsters for it because of the barrel length. It's not really convenient to put it in the vehicle or on/in the nightstand. I tend to circulate through firearms fairly quickly but this one was a record.

bought this judge and it had been fired when i picked it up got it home and removed gun powder from the cylinder and barrel and it was not a little now was it shot and returned or all are shot at the factory ? or at the place i picked it up from want answers

This is the 7th firearm I've purchased from Buds. I've always wanted a judge and I love this gun! The grip is perfect for my hand.

I wanted this for a snake gun when working on my land. ( I live in the country.) I use a 3in 410 #6 shot, this pistol makes a tight group at 10 meters without a lot of kick.
carry it in a chest rig for easy access.

Oh where do I start on the judge one thing I don't like the grip is a bit small if you are Genna use a shotgun shell or +p do not use bird shot at 10 yards you will be lucky if you get 5 pellets on a target the size of a pallet buck shot or self defence ammo designed for this application unless you just want to feel a ton of kick with little to nothing done to your target 45 colt works flawless right on target

Shoots perfectly with no recoil whatsoever. It’s got a bit of weight to it but that helps with recoil. Even with 3” shells it kicks less than a .357 Magnum. Well worth it

Fast shipping with no hassles as usual. This is the Judge I wanted when I got my first one and when I saw Buds had it, it was a no brainer. Very fun to shoot and the the longer barrel helps a bit when shooting 3" buckshot.

The Judge is so much fun to shoot, .45 LC fires with very little recoil, then switching .410 3 inch shells there is definitely a larger recoil but still manageable. The fit and finish is very good and the service from Buds was awesome. This gun literally destroyed a 3 foot x 10 inch round stump on the back of my property, that’s a fun way to remove an old stump. You can’t go wrong with the Judge in your hand.

This is one bad boy gun! The recoil with a 3-inch 410 magnum shell will wake you up.

you want to kick yourself for not having bought the long barrel judge in the first place. and at half the price. in the future i will definitely look at buds website when looking for a firearm. the price was reasonable and the weapon was at the dealer when i got home for 4th of july. so many thanks and best regards , raymond weaver.

Very satisfied with the Judge. Right out of the box at 25 Yards it had a 4 inch group of five rounds using Hornady Critical Defense 185 grain 45 Colt. Can't say much about the 410 shot but it is for closer range. The longer barrel makes a difference. The action is smooth and the recoil isn't bad. It is heavy to carry so will purchase a shoulder holster. Plans are to use it for hunting. The only drawback is the price of ammo.
