These shotguns were out of stock everywhere for many months, and I anxiously waited to be able to order one. After reading so many good reviews about it, I was pretty excited when Bud's finally had them in stock again and I ordered mine right away.

My disappointment was the condition the shotgun was in when I received it. When I picked the shotgun up from the FFL, I couldn't wait to take it home and, in my excitement, forgot to inspect it thoroughly BEFORE accepting delivery. That part was my fault. At home, I looked it over thoroughly and discovered that the rear sight had a corner chipped off and was also bent. The front sight was crooked and also had a chip on one corner. The finish had several scratches and there is a part where the fore-end assembly is connected that appears to have no finish on it at all.

I can't believe someone would even allow the shotgun to be shipped out this way. Even for the low price and even though it is manufactured in China, this is not at all what I had expected. A real disappointing first purchase from Bud's.

RESPONSE BY BUDS: We do not open or inspect any of the firearms that are shipped out. This is why we ask all customers to thoroughly inspect the firearm prior to taking transfer from the receiving dealer. As long as the firearm is left with the dealer we will pay to have the firearm shipped back where we can either send the customer a replacement or issue a refund. Once the firearm has been taken into possession we no longer have the ability to take the firearm back in order to return to the manufacturer/distributor for replacement of a new firearm thus becoming a warranty issue at that point.
