Solid gun, the only problem, it is so fun you will go broke buying ammo. Buds is great and the gun is exactly what I had hoped.

This is the second century arms AK 47 I’ve bought in less than 1 month that wil not except any magazine. I am extremely disappointed.

I own several AK variants including a custom build Yugo AK 74, a WASR 10 and now the N-PAP and the CIA RI2174N PAP has exceeded my expectations both in terms quality and fit and finish. While I like my WASR and love my 74, the N-Pap under-folder just feels to be very high quality. Actually the highest quality of the three. The sights are true, the receiver is military grade, the furniture is tight and fits very very well. The trigger is two stage for sure but smooth and light and no surprises identical to my WASR. My 74 has a TAPCO and I prefer that light single stage trigger but the N-PAP is still very good. I've only fired 20 rounds with it so far but it is well centered at 50 yards and well, just feels very, very good. I really wanted to like this rifle and for once, I found a rifle that I both wanted to like and do like. A lot. This rifle has gone into the same case as my, ahem, Mini-14 Butler Creek Side-folder and say what you will but these are now my two go-to truck rifles. much nicer than expected. awesome rifle but i do have to say that the stock is the most uncomfortable stock i have ever shouldered; if i could change one thing it would be to decrease the curve in the butt. in this case i am not a curvy butt guy. i am going to wrap it in leather to make it shootable for several hundred round range sessions. other than the stock, the rifle is a beauty. for the price and considering the platform, i would never drop twice the money on an arsenal. for 650 i am beyond pleased with my purchase. love it.

Gun is very solid and well built. Put 200 rounds through the first day with no issues at all. Not one issue to date. Handguards feel a tad bit cheap but I stained and poly coated them and its a world of difference. Also buy steel mags the magpul gets eaten up during mag swaps or regular training. Buy! 100% happy with my purchase

overall very pleased with this gun. the only issue i have is that i assumed the bolt hold back was a automatic mag empty hold back and not a manual hold back. this is good for cleaning and inspection, but bad if you have to take a shot and the magazizine is empty with no visible to let you know it could cost you your life.

I purchased the C A Npap after whatching and reading alot of reviews. The gun itself is fun to shoot and the sites seem pretty spot on. I have put 80 rounds through it at this point and all the mechanicals seem to work well. I do have one issue with the gun that does concern me though. As I was shooting the 80 rounds the trigger pin kept falling out. I emailed Century Arms and they seemed to be aware of the problem which is concerning. If they know that this is an issue, why is this not fixed before it leaves their warehouse? They are supposedly sending me the part to fix this issue myself, so hopefully after I have received this part I will love this gun. As of now it has been 10 days and I have not received the part that I need. This will impact my decision to buy a Century Arms firearm again.

This gun is a tank as to be expected shoots everything beautiful looks no canted sights. After shooting a while metal stock may wear into your jaw and or shoulder, there are some ways around this on youtube.

I just got back from the range after firing my new AK. I must say I was impressed. At 50 yards it it dead on. Shot 300 rounds through it and no malfunctions. One note the cleaning rod backed out ot the fore arm. Got home put loc thigt on it and put it back in. I wont use it anyway. I had minor issue with the folding stock , the button you push to un fold it stuck, used oil and worked it free. I like how this shoots even with the stock folded up it handles pretty good, but not as accurite with it unfolded.That I will have to get use too if I shoot it that way.All and all its a good shooter for what it is, it is no sniper rifle but its not intended to be.

I highly recommend this rifle. I've shot over 1000 rounds through it now and I haven't had a single issue. All magazines fit nice and snug in it, and its accurate and without a doubt reliable. The ability to fold the stock down makes it a sweet compact package you can haul around and fit into small spaces. Transaction with Buds went smooth, no issue at all. Awesome product and seller.

Had a little issue with some cosmetic defects on the wood but Julia at customer service made sure I got a replacement soon as possible. Received a great looking rifle that can now go with its equally great PAP pistol.

love my npap! it feels very solid and well built. so far i have about 500 rounds through it with no problems at all. there really is no better ak in my opinion for this fantastic price point. this was not only my first purchase from buds, but my first online purchase as well(i have made a couple others now so i can compare) and it couldn't have been smoother. i will definitely be buying from buds again in the future!

Fired 300 rounds through this gun so far and it has performed flawless. It's accuracy isn't bad at all for an AK. Looks nice, performs nice, and is a good price.

So far I have fired approximately 450 rounds through this weapon. I absolutely love it. No matter what type ammo I fed it there was no issues. Highly recommend. A beautiful weapon.

Love this underfolder! Serbian made receiver and CHF barrel. I have 500 rounds through it so far with no hiccups! Excellent fit and finish. New improvements include the Century RAK1 trigger. The bolt doesn't seem to drop on the hammer if the safety overtravels too far up like the older Yugo builds which is nice.

This is my 6th purchase from Buds over the last 6 or 7 years, and my 2nd layaway purchase. No issues at all, service was perfect. I got it from my FFL it was extremely well packed. The rifle is solid, well built, and sturdy. Heavier than I expected but that is okay. Sights are straight and the finish is fantastic. Gun was filthy inside and out, but that is to be expected, no big deal for me to clean it out. I have not fired this rifle yet, but I see no reason why it should not work. The folding stock is super tight so some penetrating oil goes a long way to ease it up. Great rifle, great service. Thanks Buds and Zastava!

Fired 200 rounds through the rifle. None a single misfire or malfunction. Ate tulammo and monarch easily. Fit and finish is great. Stock and bolt are a bit stiff at first (I had to hammer the stock to unfold it the first time) but they work it nicely and now I have a firm but slick action on the rifle.. Stock is still slightly stiff. Wood forgeries come unfinished and ready for any stain. Take that as you will. Overall I'm absolutely satisfied with the rifle. 10/10.

Nice product. Folding stock is definitely tight out of the box. Note to buyers: front handguard furniture is unfinished (nothing that can't be fixed with a light application of spar varnish). This is my second CAI N-PAP--the other is the fixed stock version--and quality of both looks good. CAI includes a 30-round MagPul magazine with this firearm.
