I know that this used to be legal in NY State but I’m getting conflicting information as to whether it still is. New York City has strict regulations about color (black only). Is this legal in NYC? If not, does anyone know which 20 gauge shotguns are legal, and which are good for a woman. Thanks

Hi Lisa, it is not NY legal. The following “firearms” are prohibited:
✘ Smoothbore (non-rifled) barrel firearms with a pistol grip, regardless of barrel length, including, but not limited to, the Mossberg Cruiser, Mossberg Shockwave, Remington Tac-14, Henry Axe, etc.
