It is not necessary to be a TB's member unless she plans on doing more business. There are very good privileges you/she should take a peek at to see if it's of interest : budsgunshop.com/catalog/teambuds.php

The best way is to set up an account for shipping, payment and verification purposes. She doesn't have to join Team Buds. I bought plenty of guns without being a Team Bud's member. Just a matter of choice.
