Why did this jump from 900 to 1700 dollars. You can still get it for 900 from other retailers, but they don't offer lawaway. However paying an extra 800 for layaway is crazy.

Seems like a combo of growing popularity of the rifle and a lot of panic. I imagine they'll come down a little but not back down to where they were. Hopefully you were able to get one when they were cheaper!
