Is it considered an illegal purchase if my mom uses her bank card with her name to pay for the firearm and pay the transfer fee if it’s under my customer and billing information with my name, it’s for my use, I’m doing the background check and filing out the transfer information, and I’m a legal adult?

Micah, it would be best for your Mother to purchase you a "Buds Gift Card" and let you do the entire process so no 'Red flags" are thrown.

while it is legal it looks like a "straw purchase" and buds will not allow it she would be best to buy you a gift card from buds and you order the gun using it
