It may have been but not as of the recent revamp on 01/18/18 Bob. Ruger was one of the Manufacturers that was basically decimated with California's craziness. The only CA model on the "CA Approved Roster" is the LC380CA 03253 / Alloy listed here (Mostly only Ruger Revolvers survived): oag.ca.gov/firearms/certguns?make=Sturm%2C+Ruger+%26+Co.
