  • I recently purchased one of these, love it! I contacted diamondback and asked them if it was safe to carry with a round chambered. They responded by telling me that they couldn't answer that. So I responded asking if the pistol would go off in my pocket if I carried it chambered. Again, the same response from them. I've got to say, its a little unsettling that the manufacturer wont give me a straight answer on this.

  • Yes it is perfectly safe Gary. That was the purpose of the "Zero Energy" Striker Fire feature. Combined with its mechanical striker block the Zero Energy Striker on the DB380 should make it a very safe gun to carry concealed.

  • As long as the trigger isn’t pressed it shouldn’t go off. Carrying with a round chambered is more of a personal preference. I carry a Glock 43 chambered and I understand the the extra risk in doing so. I also understand the risk in not doing so.
