Alex, the grip and angle are similar. Not identical but, similar. My opinion is if you like your M&P Shield grips you will love the CZ as it will sit similar to your shield but the slightly smaller diameter will give you better overall control when firing.

In my opinion the CZ P series grip texture is a little more aggressive than the Shield. The CZ grip seems to fit my hand better than most manufacturers. I suggest holding one to see for yourself but I doubt you’ll be disappointed with CZ.
