Michael, Absolutely. You can shoot 2 3/4" or 3" Slugs with this firearm. I own 3 different Remington 870 models, love them. Picked this firearm up for a kick around and spare for deer camp. Can't beat the price and shoots everything I've put through it.

You certainly can. You will get better accuracy with "Rifles", Foster type Slugs over the Sabot types in the smooth bore barrel. I would try a few brands then stock up on which is most accurate in your shotgun. I have had extremely good accuracy from the Brenneke K.O. Slugs.

yes you can use slugs with no issues "rifled" slugs will give you the best accuracy in a smoothbore shotgun like this
