Here's what the CPX user's manual says about +P: "+P CARTRIDGES SHOULD ONLY BE USED ON A LIMITED BASIS IN THE MODEL CPX.This type of ammunition creates much higher chamber pressures than standard ammunition. Never fire more than 50 rounds of +P ammunition per session"

Allan, the occasional use of +P Ammunition is perfectly fine, just not a steady diet of it. I have 2 SCCY's and Underwood Ammunition shoots just fine with no issues. --- sccy.com/faqs/
